So I have been watching lots of Sailor Moon recently… lets not kid ourselves this was bound to happen.
One of my students asked me today what my character would look like wearing winter clothes. This was the answer.
Obviously nailed the model “meh” look.

I have been having a bit of a stressful time as of late, so I decided to do a ego boosting narcissistic self illustration. In hopes the positive vibes inspire good feels.
I have been using photoshop to achieve a sketch-like finish a lot recently and decided to return back to my inking roots and create this image in clean vectors.
For the fun extra challenge I was inspired by the manga screen tone sheets and created a half tone effect for the shading which I am pretty happy with.
P.S that’s my logo on the left :)
Having just finished my digital painting classes, so I decided to create a piece that would push my skills to the limit and serve as a benchmark of my current skill level. After many hours, I can honestly (and proudly) say that at this moment this is the best that I can do.
